Sunset in Deep Run

I spent a good bit of my day today reading. We are having weather where the temperatures are going up and down like a yoyo as different strong fronts roll through. These large barometric changes are not nice to me so a quiet day of reading was about all I could muster.

I did open up both the Christmas trees that Kent had delivered yesterday and put them out back (still in their boxes) with their solar panels sitting where they could soak up the sun for the day. It was also time to refill the bird feeders as Friday night will be bitter cold here so want to ensure the birds have plenty to eat.

As soon as Kent got off work we headed for Deep Run. My blip is of the sunset as seen from his oldest brother's backyard. We were up there to put a Christmas tree with solar powered lights on Jay's grave.

Every year Kent bought his nephew, Jay, the wackiest, tackiest Christmas gifts and each year it was a fun challenge to try and beat the year before. This year, Jay passed away in April and it's been strange not looking for "that" gift.
Kent decided on the tree, as Jay's mum & dad can see it from their porch

Kent couldn't get one for Jay without getting one for his own mum & dad as well!!
