Deer Sunset

There's a group of young deer who seemed to have extended their regular territory to include the overgrown paddock that lies behind a our house. This is much to the chagrin of our Andalusian Podenco dog, Baxter who spends much of his time when outside in the garden, standing on the deck which overlooks the paddock, barking fiercely at them. Sometimes they will move off and disappear over the river bank but other times they will just move a littler further away from the house. Baxter who is a sight hound has failing vision and you will often catch barking in the wrong direction.

Today I was caught out by the rapidly approaching sunset and rushed outside to catch a few shots of them and then five minutes later when taking the dogs for their afternoon walk managed a few shots of the sunset.

I've used the Abstract Thursday Challenge to give me licence to muck about with my wild life shots to create an idealised sunset picture of deer in a field blending in some ot the different shots I took of the deer.
