A Bridge Not That Far

Did a walk today I've wanted to do for ages - to an abandoned road bridge over an abandoned railway, in the middle of a field, beyond the tomato factory. Didn't seem to be any angry farmers about, so we walked all around it, and M climbed up on top, and found a load of holes - presumably fox.

The tree is an azinheira, a sort of oak - the wood is used for barrels to age wine in, as well as for ships and houses and tools and firewood, and is a protected tree in Portugal.
