Budapest #2

A wonderful day and night spent sightseeing in this beautiful city.

This evening Mrs CBL and I took the metro out to Heroes' Square and then walked over to Vajdahunyad Castle in the city park to sip a glühwein or two as we watched the ice-skating on the pond. Magical!

Earlier in the day we had climbed up Castle Hill to view the Royal Palace and the Fishermen's Bastions. The extra is taken from the top of the hill looking over the Chain Bridge and the Danube to the Parliament.
