MoMA Sculpture Garden at night

I went to Manhattan's Museum of Modern Art (M0MA) late this afternoon, to see a brand new exhibition on the  Rise of the Russian Avant-Garde--excellent, though a bit esoteric for me.  Afterwards I went to the far end of the exhibition in search of another obscure show; I never found it, but on the way I passed this view of the sculpture garden, opposite the entrance and the usual perspective.  In the morning I got to a downtown gallery show of Mark Rothko's dark paintings--very somber but impressive; he is a favorite of mine. Our relatives Larry and Linda joined us for an excellent Chinese lunch near our apartment--we were almost blown into the street by a bitterly cold wind.
