Misty morning

It was another misty start to the day, which was forecast to rain all day. Fortunately we had less rain than expected so we went to a coffee and mince pie morning in town.   As we got down there we realised we had missed the main local event of the year - the late night Christmas shopping in the High Street.  It was the night before, all the shops stay open late with mulled wine, prosecco and other treats to tempt people in, along with various street musicians.  Must make a note for next year.
