Old hydrangea

This hydrangea is the most fantastic blue when it's in flower, but I think it's still beautiful when the flowers are dead.

I had a long conversation with the owner of the house, who I've met several times when I've been photographing this plant. He has a hard time as his wife has MS and they have been having some nightmare alterations done to the house and are currently being sued for the rest of the money due under the contract, although they have never completed it as they were sacked by the owners. Horrible, horrible situation!
