This dainty bird, the Pied Stilt, which has long pink legs was standing in deep water searching for food.


Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s view across the estuary near where I live. This is a very tidal area and at low tide the view is rather grey and muddy - quite different when it is covered with water.
