Santa's Pullman

Today I went with my great friends G and M for a three course xmas lunch plus coffee and mince pie on Santa's Pullman on the Poppy Line. We spent a lovely two and a half hours on the train as it steamed from Sheringham to Holt and back twice. This shot is of the engine as it swapped ends of the train at the end of the day. It was a truly delightful way to spend a day and I hope it will be an annual event for us. And many thanks to all the volunteers who make it possible - they were also running a 'mince-pie special' with another engine on the second line.
