Life goes on

A few hundred yards from my flat in Edinburgh is a small garden which every few months transforms to a different theme. This year we have had The Kelpies and Halloween spiders webs amongst other things. Normally there is a Christmas display but nothing has been done yet. Walking past this afternoon it became clear why. There was a small sign from the old lady who creates the displays telling us that her husband had died unexpectedly so there would be a delay in producing a Christmas design. 

As if to give the poor lady some hope, a tiny rose bud has appeared despite the cold weather to let her know that life will continue and the joy she gives others brings happiness to many lives.
