The Braco road

Somehow got the family ( daughter excepted as she was working today from 8am) up and out by 9 for our annual trip to our friends at Comrie to get our Christmas tree. Extra of netting machine.

Today was one of the mildest trips. The scenery was lovely as we headed over the road from Braco to Comrie with views such as this.

Tree collected, and early lunch including some new local cheese from Cultybraggan (a bit strong a taste for me but lovely in small doses) then back via the South Loch Earn road - see extra- for a change via Callendar to top up on the Mhor bakery steak pies.

Then the shopping and visit to the elderly aunt. Then getting the tree up!
