Frozen

While the rest of the country is under snow we’ve just had very cold dry weather. Must have been bitter for those sleeping out under Edinburgh Castle to support homeless people. But all seem to have survived - and raised millions in the process.

The early flowering rhoddy at the gate got a shock! Then again hardy varieties grow in the Himalayas.

Kept myself warm by clearing out the tip - sorry - dining room and redistributed the contents around the house. We’ll have somewhere to sit and eat over Christmas! Still not got round to the cards though!
