Lighting up time

Up to Comrie to visit friends and pick up our Christmas tree - an annual expedition which is always enjoyable, involves a good lunch and some wonderful scenery.

This year the temperature barely rose above 1oC. And often dipped to -2oC. At least it was dry and sunny - but that augured for a very cold night for the sleep out in Edinburgh in support of the homeless. Three people I know are taking part - one a current member of the team and one a CHS Board member. It may dip to -5oC tonight so thoughts with them and those who every night sleep on the streets without the support and padding many will have at Sleep in the Park.

The mid-afternoon setting sun created some lovely light as in the blip. I also liked the dramatic skyline as in the extra.
