Pigeon.

I had an appointment with the surgeon this morning  and had a couple of xrays which didn't show  any problem so am booked for another MRI scan. The great progress I was making has ground to a halt and he suspects the spine has been destabilised and something has moved. It was always a risk that this could happen but I am very disappointed as things were going so well. The good news is that my trip to the family in Napier for Christmas has been okayed.

My hasty blip today is a pigeon hunting for seed in the dry grass. I did like the iridescent  patch of feathers on the neck.

I have just noticed my blip of a tiny insect on a yellow rose is on the front page of Popular.  A big thanks to all those whose hearts and stars sent it there.
