Tiny Visitor

When I brought in my washing I found this cicada on a towel. Cicadas are rare in my garden, and this is quite the smallest one I’ve ever seen.

The mantis nymph in extras is feasting on a small fly. No poppies today and yesterday because of storm damage. Both mornings there was fresh snow on the mountains. No wonder I was cold.
