and through the wire...

We headed off west after the day's work/school activities were done (Ms H now on hols!) for a few nights in Glasgow. We'd got tickets for Frightened Rabbit at the Barrowlands ages ago after enjoying their gig in April so much and few weeks ago some old pals arranged a meet up in Glasgow tomorrow, so we thought we'd make a weekend of it.. cue tomorrow's blip!

We've been to the Barrowlands a fair few times over the years. Much as we yawn when Glaswegians go on about the east/west divide and which side is better, there's no doubt that gigs over here (yeah Glasgow) are special, and gigs are at the Barrowlands are something else. The crowd know it, the bands know it, a'body knows it and that just makes it even better. It's a Musical Perfect Storm!

So we got there for Paws, one of the support acts, who we had not heard before but enjoyed and will be checking them out more, Ms H even bought their t-shirt. And then the Frabbits played for 100 frabulous mins. This is them on one of their encores with in fact Paws joining them. It was Ms H's first visit to this venue and what a way to start! She loved it.  Ahhhhh... let my ears ring until the morning...
