*what an AMAZING day!

*singing (lots and lots of it). It filled my heart with gladness. Winter songs from all over the world, secular and sacred, carol and wassail, relaxed and raucous. I loved the concert so much that I decided to do another one tomorrow instead of my planned afternoon off...

*a fun afternoon watching Sarah model wedding dresses  for our photographer friend Flo

*more singing...in the pub and along the street, to accompany projections of the beautiful paintings of James Paterson on the walls of the houses in Moniaive, where he lived.

*even more singing....in the village cinema where they were playing archive film footage of Moniaive.

*and mince pies and mulled wine

*and we sang along on the way home to this
