festive family

Yesterday my brother came to visit and today  it was the turn of my sister and two of her children. They brought lunch with them and it was very tasty. Once it was eaten and the dishes washed, we pulled crackers and played charades and other games. There was a lot of laughter...

This evening, Mum, Dad, Sarah and I went to the service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Holy Cross in Uckfield. We had a jolly good sing :-)

Sarah left for London afterwards and tomorrow I will be following in the same direction.
