Red Box Yellow Box

First post box for a while - up in Morningside where we were looking for our Mahjong Secret Santa gifts. Earlier we had gone to see the Muppets Christmas Carol at the Filmhouse with some of the Soc Cafe people (first time two of us had seen it but a firm favourite with the other three) and then across the road to the recently converted Picture House. It's now a Wetherspoons and while the interior looks pretty good, I suspect a lot of that is a reflection of the planning restrictions imposed on the re-development. We were sitting up in one of the balconies which look out across the main space. Of course it's still just a pub that serves food however much it might feel like a restaurant up there so you need to take your own orders to the bar, bring back your drinks and pay up front.
Later we went round to our friend D's, close to where we rented for a year, for a Strictly Final evening. A lovely evening with a bit of fizz and a fine array of snacking food, as well as lots of good chat and banter. I'll not comment on the outcome for those who may not have seen it yet (so no spoilers in comments either please!)
