Christmas Penguin

This evening my friends Jackie and Andy hosted their annual festive drinks party where friends from the flying club get together and wear silly festive outfits.

As all good parties go most of us predictably ended up in the kitchen while others collapsed on the sofa watching Christmas movies!

Everyone seems pretty burnt out at the moment and ready to sleep the whole of the Christmas holidays. So it was more of a 'hoover everything in sight from the buffet' than 'dancing on the tables' kind of affair.

Santa's Elves entertained us with 'unwrap the Brussel sprout' while we acted like big children choosing who to put on the naughty and nice list on the wall.

Lovely to catch up with friends I've not seen since the end of the air show season and make plans for flying fun on New Year's Day.
