The Pentice

In Medieval times that was a tax for the amount of space utilised by shops. The shopkeepers therefore build over the walk way underneath and sold their produce in the shelter of the over hang. This arcade is called the Pentice. In the image you can see Boots the Chemist. It looks really old but I think that it dates from 1930 and was deliberately built to look old.

I've been to the Mill and of course I thought of David. In fact he has been with me all day.

I took Murphy on a long walk before I went.

Since returning home I've worked with Kathryn to remount things on her walls.

I'm working from home tomorrow
