Space explorers are pioneers indeed but one astronaut has changed how we view space through his exploration of how we use social media by using his creative talents to share photography, videos and music all recorded in the International Space Station to inspire and enlighten us.

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield released this Christmas carol on social media today written and recorded on his iPad in space. If you haven't explored any new music lately then give it a try.

And if you're looking to explore a new book this Christmas then Chris Hadfield's 'Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth' is unputdownable! I was fortunate enough to meet him two years ago at a book signing and I can honestly say he is one of the few people I've been starstruck by!
