Bring me sunshine...

A dull December day when it never seems to get light - except for a short while early this afternoon when the sun broke through and poured in through the window to light up my little corner of the office. Only me there today and for the rest of the week - seems very quiet!

Home from work to pay yet another visit to the PO, this time with parcels for MrM's side of the family. Then to sort out the lights on the Christmas tree. Having remarked to MrM that modern fairy lights are much better than those back in the day when at least one bulb needed replacing before the lights would work, one of the two sets of lights on our tree decided to malfunction. Surprising how difficult it is to put a set of lights on a Christmas tree with all the baubles in place!

Minor problems of everyday life put into perspective by the terrible atrocity in Berlin last night - innocent people killed and injured, lives destroyed, just awful...
