Waiting for the tide

In need of a coat of paint too.

Off to Mapua early for Trev's podiatry appointment. He dropped me off at the carpark at the side of the wharf but I never made it on to the wharf as I was entertained by tui in the gigantic flax there. Wasn't very successful in taking a photo of them as the sun in the wrong place but fun trying. No people around at 8am.
When I suddenly realised the time I saw Trev had been wandering round the wharf looking for me.
A warm day for the longest day of the year. Did some weeding in the vegie patch, walked of course and the usual house work things. Now ready to sit back and read and probably doze.
