Mourning Dove

I walked by the kitchen window and saw this mourning dove sitting at the BBQ Diner so of course I ran and got the camera. I really do need to leave it on the counter during the day!

There was a grasshopper sparrow that was quite perturbed about this interloper. I got a shot of the two of them together with the sparrows beak open, (yelling, I presume) but the dove was out of focus. I kept the shot because it makes me laugh.

I am grateful to be able to look out my window and see who is visiting our diner.
