Life in Newburgh on Ythan

Gold

Born a King on Bethlehem's plain
Gold I bring to crown Him again
King forever, ceasing never
Over us all to reign

From the American carol We three Kings of Orient written in 1857 by the Rev. John Henry Hopkins.

The gold plated cat came from the British Museum shop, the golden leaf skeleton from a Christmas craft fair held in Stanstead Airport terminal.
