Spectacular Sunset

As yesterday was the Winter Solstice with the shortest day, today we can look forward to longer daylight hours. I had intended to blip a Christmas theme, but could not resist this balcony view as it was one of the most colourful I've seen. The extra is a festive penguin seen in an optician's window.  Many thanks to the kind enquiries about my eye treatment. The right eye cataract op is postponed for a while as I need another course of injections. I have macular degeneration in one eye and a rogue blood vessel leaks, clouding the vision. It happened last year for the first time. The treatment dries up the leakage. Only takes a quick eye injection, painless and no bother at all.
