'Festive'

Thursday means faffing ... thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursday.

The Christmas cards were moving swiftly past the fire in a ghostly haze of Christmas Past.
I still get some sent to both of us which I frankly find pretty weird and symbolic of how disconcerting I find the whole business. 'Tis the season of much dissonance. 

It'll be nice to stop working for a moment or two and given the prospect of a stormy few days and enough driving being done generally I'm glad I didn't sign up for working at Crisis at Newcastle again this year.
