No Bakewell tart for breakfast but no doubt kippers. I think at least the hotel did a decent breakfast. Drive over the Peak District National Park, the weather was appropriate, drizzly mist but still beautiful. To Leeds where I had a meeting with consultants connected with setting up a company for a German business.

Ended the day at the very fine Devonshire Arms Hotel near Bolton Abbey. Expensive place but we were luckily on our standard price vouchers. However we did lash out on dinner, Angie taking a relaxed pre dinner bath and getting in her fancy gear and I even wore jacket & tie. Angie was VERY impressed that the bathroom included complimentary hot water bottles.
