A bit of a project

An early call from Bailey as seems to be his wont when we are away from home. At least we didn't have to get up too early for the first time since the holidays began. It is Dad's birthday today and cards and presents were opened after breakfast. We also got out for a walk before Storm Barbara arrived and arrive she did in the afternoon with the worst squall timed at about the time that Bailey required another walk. We didn't get far before he decided to turn tail and head back into the dry. 

Much of the rest of the day has been spent on the next stage of a sewing project. 80 hexagons cut out of card and 45 of them fabric wrapped. A good accompaniment to a bit of Christmas telly watching including Saving Mr Banks this evening.
