Exhausted

A busy day.  After work, it was a rush to load up the car with food, trophies, PA system, banqueting roll, raffle prizes, etc; then off to the meeting room where the Photographic Society was holding its annual Christmas social, unloading all the stuff (up and down the steps several times), preparing tables, laying out the food, setting up the PA system with suitable Christmas music, organising the trophies (so that I presented the right cup to the right winner) etc.  Then the pleasant social bit. Then clearing the tables, throwing away some excess food, packing up the PA system, loading everything back into the car (up and down the steps several times) and clearing the room. Then back home to unload the car, put the glasses ready for washing tomorrow, put the PA system back in its storage place, put away the four trophies which couldn't  be presented because the winners weren't there this evening, etc.

After all that, I felt pretty tired, and nearly fell asleep on the sofa.
