Rust Never Sleeps

Today with my son in law and also technical adviser and I went to visit the Janie Seddon.  It is unique to have a wreck so close to shore.  She was a twin screw steamer built in Paisley Scotland in 1901.  She was used by the Government as an examination vessel in Wellington Harbour in both World Wars.  Later she proved unsuccessful as a fishing vessel and was beached in 1955 and broken up for scrap.  Here she sits an interesting subject for photographers :-)
Thank you for the hearts for Mono Monday.  Very kind of you.
