With mountains like these

Razor's edge

We had a fantastic walk with A and S to the beach from Formby to nearly Ainsdale, in search of mesolithic footprints and memories. We found many and varied. Back along the railway line in the freezing air.

Someone had left a beautiful swirl of razor shells in the sand and I had the privilege of watching the sun set behind them for a while.

More catching up on our return with old friends and we found some mesolithic coal in the shed to keep up going. Northern bound tomorrow.
