Off into the snow

Oh what a day! We arrived really refreshed from the Arctic Circle Train, (a nightlong massage with a strobe light show of snow covered trees).

Abisko guesthouse welcomed us warmly. we had a walk before lunch in the big hotel down the road and then back to sort cold weather gear and a shop in the supermarket sweet shop.

Suited and booted (some tweaks needed) we skidooed off into the hills and across the lake in a bit of a snowstorm. That was fun, especially in hindsight for a small boy with cold fingers.

A tiny bit of Aurora was visible but better chances will come I am sure.
