Nürnberg

A day out!

Off to Nürnberg on the 10:38 train. 90 minutes each way. It's not that far really, but it's a "regional" train which stops at all the villages along the way. Clean, quiet and on time, mind you. Not expensive either - €30 return for the two of us.

The Germanische Museum was the main target. Very enjoyable and nice food in the cafe.

After spending all afternoon there, we wandered about looking for dinner, and struck it lucky with a famous local place. Excellent food and wine.

Home for 21:30.

The Blip is part of the room at the museum for historical musical instruments. An impressive collection. The extra is an eye catching exhibit in the rooms dealing with the museum's history.
