In a brief interlude during the downpours, we headed up chop some wood for our campfire. While Mr B was being all manly with the chainsaw and some dead tree trunks, Cousteau and I went for a wander. He doesn't much like being in the car on the four wheel drive tracks, so he's very happy when he can get a break.
I was happy to spot this butterfly settling on a log with a bit of fern in the frame. It made me think of New Zealand, and I liked it. So here you have it.
Mr B built us a pretty impressive campfire to ward off the dreary weather and I cooked a rather impressive dinner with the bits and bobs I had at my disposal. Yum!
The tent is still dry! Yay!
