JB RIGHT...

...& ES left!

I got the train out to Genval - half an hour southeast of Brussels...

Had the most lovely evening - these two sisters put on a terrific meal in ES's house. It began at 9 pm - there was a break at midnight for half an hour's fireworks in the freezing cold (-5° C) then back to the fireside for dessert.

There were nine of us around that table - time disappeared & suddenly it was 3 am a JB kindly drove me back to BXL - she was staying in her town house...

For me, the star of the evening was twelve year old Elisa:

I've rarely met anyone so totally in the moment - so funny - delightful...
