Salvage from the Wreckage

Old Skool Selfie

Yesterday was the first fastish run for a while. And dropping H off to meet a friend at the city centre and dropping H's phone off to have its home button repaired and picking up H's repaired phone and going to Curry's to pick up a pre-ordered BlueTooth speaker (Bose Soundlink Mini II) for H's birthday (she contributed!) and experiencing the most incompetent customer service ever and picking H up from the city.

Today was saying goodbye to both of them. I cycled M to the station (in an attempt to get a few more bike miles in for 2016 - see below) then drove H to the same station. She tubed it to M's flat whilst he cycled. She stayed with him after their respective NYE parties.

We celebrated by watching the last part of Poliakov's Closer To The Enemy and then Inside Number 9.

But enough of this, you'll be wanting the end year stats. Of course you will. Despite an injury-affected last couple of months, I ran 576 miles in 2016 - 11 miles a week. I played more than 3 hours football a week on average. 96 hours of tennis over the year. But only cycled 370 miles - more than 10% of which were in the last week!

And why is this selfie Old Skool? With no front camera, I had to look for the reflection of our faces in the shiny Apple logo on the back of the camera. Skillz.
