In with the new...

We didn't manage to stay up for the bells last night after our very early start but, Jings, when we got up today, Swannie must have made a new year's resolution to do more housework!  She started off with the hall, then went upstairs and gutted the bathroom and landing.  The dreaded vacuum cleaner was going on and off all day, so I just had to hide in the bedroom with the big cats.

Finally, she put her duster away and picked up a bottle of Prosecco to go first-footing next door.  Ben and Christine were making up their new jigsaw and it did look great fun.  The extra is of Toby, the dog, having a look at the jigsaw, he didn't help much though because, as we all know, dogs are just not as clever as us cats.
