Oak Woodland

With views of the Mayacamas Range, Annadel State Park is located near acres of California vineyards, and aids in preserving the flora and fauna of the region. It was home to the Pomo, and as we ascended the trail to the top of the ridge, we walked through obsidian scattered in the soil. These lands were important, as the obsidian was traded to other tribes. It was worked into scrapers, knives, arrow points and spearheads.
