Rosamond's Busy Day

Dear Diary,

Rosamond is very busy in the backyard digging snow tunnels to get from here to there.  I had to exercise a great deal of patience (I am starting right off with my word for the year!) to catch her emerging from one of the tunnels.  She was adorable and very fast!

She was also busy harvesting the small berries from Auntie's tree, extra photograph.  I think she was also nibbling on the bark but the tree seems okay with it.  Our temperatures are moderating and we are due for some rain on Tuesday which will make a real mess of things I'm afraid.  Our January thaw is coming a bit earlier this year.
