Late Light....

We had rain this morning... hardly enough to damp the dust. But hopefully enough to dampen the long dried grasses on the Wither Hills to the south of Blenheim. We had a very wet spring this year and everywhere the growth is phenomenal. With the growth and now dry conditions the fire risk is extreme. We have already had three small fires on the hills. Maisie, friend Ricky and I went for a walk in the Taylor Dam reserve. The late light on the hills was beautiful tonight.
