'Whoopee..... a Whooper'

Great to see this winter visitor on Hogganfield Loch. The Whoopers visit from Iceland during the winter months. Plenty of other birds on the Loch but this lovely elegant swan was a new bird to add to my collection. I've seen hundreds of Mute swans on our local ponds and lochs but this Whooper was a special bonus.

Lots of indoor tidying up done this afternoon .... glad the paper bin is being emptied this week .... mine is full up. I think I missed the previous collection. Next on my list is the garden!!!
