House of an Art Lover

Originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh as an elegant country retreat (but not built in his lifetime).  More than 110 years later, House of an Art Lover (based on his design) stimulates public interest in art, design and architecture through its studios, exhibitions, scholarships and access to learning for all ages. I liked the juxtaposition of the building and the frost-covered seat in the foreground. The extra shows some attractive engraved sculptures in the grounds.
