Commercial

After worked headed to Commercial St, which started as lots of very modern shops but as Deepa and I wondered along it changed into an area of lots of tailors. It also became very muslim. At one crossroads we counted 5mosques with minarets from where we stood.

The poster above the buildings here is another very common sight. It is the names, faces and achievements of the local politicians. These posters are almost as ubiquitous as movie posters and cutouts.

Tonight I had pan after a great dinner of north Indian food, this was the first time for years. And this was pan to die for, the betel nut leaf was fresh and tender and the contents were just perfect, not too much like I have experienced before that has put me off.
