Viburnum Bodnentense

Finding any type of flower growing outside that is in bloom at the moment is a bit like finding a needle in a haystack.
Just a steady walk around the village this morning in damp conditions with leaden skies.
Walked up Sun Lane to the nature reserve but little to see so l headed back on the track adjacent to the railway line.
Felt a little despondent as l walked the path as there is an application going forward to build between 500 to 700 houses there. I won't even start on my reaction to that news.
Finished the walk by crossing the Village Field and then past the Village Green.
Fortunately on my way back l caught sight of this Viburnum bush escaping from a fence and took a shot of the only bit of colour l saw on such a dull day.
Just started raining about 200 metres from home so no complaints there!
Going to the hairdressers after lunch then a bit of Granny duty.
The decorations are down and packed so this evening's job will to store them away until the end of the year.
Thanks to Anni for hosting Flower Friday
