Falling In

I wished Florrie a happy new year and asked after her Christmas. "Aye, was alright I s'pose. But Christmas should be kept just for the kids. It's nowt good for anyone else. Too bloody expensive. Glad it's all over so I get back on with my life," starting off with almost a smile but soon getting into her normal grumpy vibe. She then extinguished her cigarette and promptly headed into the bookies.

The world could fall in on her and nothing would change. She could win the lottery and still find something to moan about! Why do I love this woman so much?
