Dragon after dark

A very mild, dreich day.

Down to Alnwick late in the afternoon for a supermarket shop and the customary supper at Carlo's. The splendid dragon bench is in the square in Alnwick, rather conveniently just across the road from Carlo's!

Then back to to put away the Christmas decorations until next time. We decided to put on a DVD - something fairly inane and easy-watching - while I was putting baubles in boxes and trying to fit fairy lights into their containers, and decided upon Grimsby, starring Sacha Baron Cohen. MrM found it 'on offer' in a supermarket just before Christmas, and thought it might be fun. Well, parts of it were but, if you've never had the pleasure of watching this particular film, my advice is - don't! It leaves images in your head that you really wish you'd never encountered in the first place (and they don't involve the "sex references, violence, drug use and strong language" mentioned on the cover...). Just yuk!
