Gubbertushed

As it's another damp, gloomy and low-clouded day my furthest foray from the house has been to the compost barrel. OK, I could have Blipped that, but to quote Jane Austen's Mr Elton, 'everyone has their level '!

I decided upon a more literary Blip. Knowing my love of books and words, my younger daughter's Christmas gifts to me included not only two hilarious books about the weird questions that customers ask in bookshops, but a wonderful daily tear-off calendar of Forgotten English.
