Lentil soup

We have dodged the bullet so far!  No major freezing rain and no real snowfall.  It is definitely cold and still getting colder.  

Unlike just to the west or north of us, we aren't covered in ice or snow.  We have had rain as the temperatures dropped but it seemed to stop just in time.  We got some ice pellets and the odd flurry of flakes.  There are icicles hanging from the roof.

I made us a pot of lentil soup this afternoon and this evening we are keeping warm while still enjoying the 'Christmas lights'.  

My project for the day was to redecorate my walker, taking the Christmas off and putting the winter ones on.
